You're listening to unfiltered us, where we keep it real and unscripted. I'm your host, Suzy, along with my husband, Miguel. Ready to dive in? Let's get started. Welcome back everyone. Hi, babe. You know what? Tomorrow's an exciting day. Yes. Happy birthday is your birthday. Actually. What? Today? If people are listening to this today, it's your birthday. It is my birthday. Happy birthday. How do you feel? I feel great. Somebody asked us the story today. How old are your turning? And then you gave them your actual turning. I'm like 35. Well, I mean, I wasn't gonna lie. I got her two ages. He's like looking at us, like what? And he's like, okay. I think he was surprised when I said my real age, like a good surprise, you know? Like, really? Yeah. So that was. I like that. Feeling better. That is true. But they're surprised by me actually just going back really quickly. Last week I was in Puerto Rico. I know it's really we're really happy to have you back. And, um, we were with the Uber driver that was taking us back to the airport. Mhm. And I was telling him how so, you know, uh, and of course he laughed because I'm not, he laughed because he knew I was joking. I'm not really a month Anita. I do my part around here. Um, but I just don't get paid. We should have recorded that part. Um. So then I was telling him how I. I've been married for so long and that I actually have two kids and three grandkids. And he thought I was the mistress because he didn't think that I was old enough to have two kids and three grandkids, so I could see that. I thought that was, uh, that that would be a good story to tell from now on. They're not your kids. They're not your. Yeah. No, he really thought they weren't my kids and my grandkids. He thought I was. It happens. I guarantee you, it happened so much that you know to them. If you would have told them that that was the case, it would have been anything new. I remember him looking at me through his, like, rearview mirror. Like no way. So that was a great feeling. By the way, being called the mistress, I guess. I guess sometimes, you know, sometimes I'm, I don't know, sometimes you may feel like it, but hey, we got a we got a cool topic today. I know we've been talking about doing, um, uh, an episode on on Dreams. Yeah. So we're talking dreams today. This could be very real sometimes. Oh, yeah, I know, cuz I like if you ignore me in a dream or you're cheating on me in a dream, I actually end up really disliking you in the morning. Yeah, tell me about it. I'm like. Which? I don't know why you dream that all the time. I don't either. There's gotta be a meaning I know you, there is a meaning. Okay? So it's got to be a good one, right? Well, according to ChatGPT. Not really. No, it feels like it says. Okay, let me read it. Okay. So. Okay. Go ahead. Well. Oh. So we were talking about dreams and how, you know, that's one of the things that we do. And I think that's important to do us a couple. Right. When, when you go to sleep or you wake up the next morning and you guys had dreams for you guys to share your dreams and what, you know, what, are they good or are they not good? What did you dream? That's one of the things that we do like first thing when we wake up, right? Like we're brushing your teeth. We're getting ready to go to the gym. Hey, what did you dream last night? Or you may say something like, oh, I did dream last night. Or, you know, or worst case scenario, when we're in the car on the way to the gym, we always end that up, whether it was a good dream or a bad dream. And so the other day, um. I don't know. You were super quiet when we woke up and I'm like, okay, she's super quiet and I don't know what's going on. And then I asked her, I said, did you do last night? And she was like, I'm so mad at you right now. I'm like, whoa, okay, I wonder what happened. What did I do? That's exactly what I said. What did I do? Just tell me what I did. So, okay, so talk about the dream and I guess you you looked up what it means. Well, in the dream, this past one that just happened, um, another girl was telling you that she loved you. Yep. And so, in a sense, I guess you were cheating on me. But I don't really remember a lot of details of the dream. I just know that much. And that she was a waitress. For some reason. I knew that she was a waitress. Okay. And that you guys met on IG. Okay, I wish I knew more details about the dream, but like how she looked. Yeah, like. Well, I didn't even see that. I didn't even see how she looked at all. So that's the other thing. So I'd. I don't know. But anyways, I looked it up like it. I looked it up on ChatGPT. Like if your spouse is cheating can be really upsetting, but they're almost never literal. Obviously they're usually symbolic messages from your emotions or not predictions of a real behavior. So that's true. Obviously, I know you're not cheating, and I don't in any way feel like you are cheating, so it's not literal. Like I don't really literally feel like you are, but it says you maybe you have a fear of losing your partner. You do, but I don't. I don't have a fear of losing you. Maybe you're feeling neglected or not prioritized, which it's hard for you to feel that when you haven't been home. So maybe that one is true. Because I was gone for an entire not entire week. I was gone for like five. It felt like a week. Yeah. To Puerto Rico, right. And I do when that's the thing that I actually really do miss you. I know maybe on social media it doesn't seem that way, but I literally miss you. Like, especially when it's time to go to bed and I need to, like, hold you. So maybe that part could be true. Like feeling neglected or. It's not that I'm feeling neglected by you. It's just that I obviously extremely miss you, right? And we even have a hard time when we're, like, separating. I know, like, you go through anxiety. I go through anxiety. Like, I wish this trip was already over type of feeling. Right. And then obviously by the end of the trip, we're back together and everything seems to be put back into place. So. I did dream that almost right after. Yeah. Because even after you came back from Puerto Rico, it's not like we, you know, we had some friends over and we had some company over. Yeah. We weren't really lonely. We we had the kids over or we went out to eat with them. I forget what we did, you know? So even after you got back, still, we were not alone together. Alone and even even as of right now, I don't feel like we have been, in a sense, maybe today. Yeah. Today, I think, was the first day we. I felt because yesterday, even not even and even like that, I was still gone for a couple hours earlier today. Yeah. So I could see that one. Like I feel so you know, the thing about dreams, I remember it because we're we're talking about the meaning of dreams, right? And and how we dream and the things we do. I remember when I was a kid, my mom. Now we can ChatGPT or we can Google, you know, what a dream means or something, right? Or you can look up the definition of it or whatever. But back then, my mom used to have books. And these books you can look up like if you dream of a horse, or if you dream of your spouse, right, like you did right now. And you can look up this the meaning of, of the of the dream or the object or the person or whatever the situation that you that you had a dream of. She almost had like 3 or 4 books. And this we're talking since I can remember being a kid. These are old books because you can tell they were worn right. And it'll tell you not only what what it meant. Like, uh, like a one line description of what the dream meant, but also give you the numbers to play in the lottery. Oh, wow. So so I think she used it more for that because I remember as a kid, I remember my mom playing the lottery a lot, you know. Did she win? Uh, yeah, she would win. Okay. I mean, I mean, it was kind of. Yeah. And it was funny because it would be like, oh, I dreamt of a whatever of a horse or whatever. And then they would look at the book and then they would play that number, and that number would be like, yeah. And then everybody would be like, oh, you won. Yeah. Because I dreamt of a horse, you know, and everybody knew. So I've always been involved with like. Like the meaning of dreams, just for maybe for that gambling reason, but also for the meaning of things, you know. Yeah. And one of the things that I've known, um, is just going to sound crazy, but ever since I started taking magnesium oil. Yeah, applying magnesium oil, I should say, um, I have crazy dreams. And not only that, I. I'm aware of what's going on in the dreams. Yeah, you see that? You know, you're in a dream. And I know I'm in a dream. That's crazy to me. The other day it was crazy. I had a dream. I've been saving for the recording of these podcasts to tell you about this dream that I had. Oh, okay. I don't know this, so this is going to be a new one to you? Yes, it will be. And, um, I'm gonna suck it up. So, uh, okay, so I, I've, I've been having these dreams where I, I'm aware of what's going on in the dream. And I know it's a dream. And sometimes when they're not good dreams, I told myself, you got to wake up. And I wake up and I get up because I know I've never been able to experience something like that. I forget what these type of dreams are called, but you're, you're you're aware that you're in the dream. And we said this to a couple of our, of our friends and they told me that, um, next time to try to figure it out, like, what time is it or where exactly am I? Or try to ask questions like when I'm in the dream, you know? So I haven't got into that level yet. But, um, I know I have a couple of dreams that I, that I had a dream and I wrote them down right here of, um, what was one of them? And one of them was that I, I remember this one. I was well, okay, prior to that one, you said Steph had a dream, right? What was Steph's dream? Remember that? Oh, that I heard a that I brought two for. Oh, yeah. You of, uh, killed like a dog and you brought it. But I didn't bring that. No, no, you brought the for like the. Yeah. Here, the dark haired daughter and I showed it to her. And you? You showed it to her, and she was like, what happened to the dog? And she was all concerned about the dog. Um, she was crying because you. She thought you had killed the dog, and and she was saying how her dream. I killed this dog, and I brought her that dog hair. Yes. Yeah. And then after you, you were smiling and so happy. And she was like, what do you. What happened to the dog? Like she was all concerned. And then you left. And then I came up to her and I was like, it's okay, friend. Like I'm crying with her. Yeah. So it was a crazy dream about dog hair, right? Well, we know she has a soft spot for dogs. So clearly hurt her big time. Yes. You know that you brought her dog here. And so I remember her telling you that the the the dream the next day. And I told her, I said, hey, no dogs were harmed, right? I did not touch a dog. Right. But anyways, like literally the next night I have this dream where I'm in like a fast food restaurant, and as I'm walking out, I see this guy coming in. No, as I'm. Yeah, as I'm walking in, I see this guy. And as I'm walking out, the guy is there, and then the guy comes over and attacks me, or wants to stab me with the fork and the knife, or I forget how it was exactly. I wish I would, but the guy wanted to stab me with a fork in the knife, right? Yeah. And he was like, coming after me. And then I forgot what happened. Like, oh, I went in the middle of the street and he didn't run across the street because there was cars coming. So I figured my dream, I'm gonna go on the street and maybe stop traffic and somebody would notice and call the cops. So the guy, the guy is trying to stab me or whatever, right? And so the guy starts running. And he falls. It's funny because he fell in the middle of the street. But anyways, I run and I go and I get inside of you. Hold on. My friend Sakis is driving. And what's funny is that in my dream, he sounded just like he does. Like he had a deep voice. Like he's like, bro, what the fuck happened? And I'm like, dude, he could not get any more real than that, right? But anyway, so then I woke up thinking, man, the staff really sent somebody to hurt me back for killing the dog because I heard the dog, you know? So, um, that was that was crazy. But you said you looked that one up. I looked up Steph's first, okay? And it meant, um, I let me see if I still have it. It actually meant something good. It meant that, um, we. That the people in the dream are loyal to you, right? So. And that's actually very true. Uh, I don't have it anymore, but, uh, it said something that, uh, the people in your dream are very loyal to you. Uh. And I can remember well, but when that their true friends to you. So whoever you saw in the dream with the dog hair especially, uh, that they're very loyal to you. So I was like. And I told her that and I'm like, oh, it's a good thing. It means that we're loyal to that. We're loyal to each other, that our friendship is a great friendship. So obviously the three of us have a great friendship, right? And so that's what it meant, that part. So then the fork and the knife about you being attacked. I did look that one up and it said dreams where someone tries to hurt you with the fork and knife can feel really intense, but they aren't as literal as though they tend to symbolize emotional tension, conflict, or vulnerability. Here are a few possible meanings depending on the context. So you're feeling attacked or criticized. You have cuts on a daily basis. Uh wow. Conflict over needs or nourishment, loss of control or boundaries, or you have inner conflict. I think at that time, because this dream was a little bit ago. Yeah, yeah. I think at that time these dreams were at least a month ago or something. Yeah. I think at that time, that dream actually fit you very well. I think at that time you had, um, I don't know if you were feeling attacked, but you did feel some emotional tension. I want to say at that time, which made sense in the dream when you said it to me and I read this. Yeah. Probably does. Do you feel that dreams are very accurate? Uh, you know, I, I yes and no. Once you find the meaning of them, uh, yes and no, I don't know, I, I, I told you. Well, I don't know, it just depends, you know, I mean, the, the dreams can be so real that you can wake up like, like you woke up the other day. Yeah. And you can be upset at a person, you know, but at the same time, you have to understand that that is a dream. You know, it's not necessarily true, but because you're so emotionally attached to them, you know, I mean, doesn't necessarily mean it's true, but, uh. In the dream. It's true. Yeah. I haven't had dreams where, like, my father passes away or something happens to one of my kids or something like, oh, good. Right. And I just. I'll wake up crying. Yeah, that's how real the dream feels to me while I'm doing it, while I'm experiencing it, that I've. I've woken up crying. Yeah. And I've had the same. Yeah. Where you're crying in the dream and all of a sudden you wake up and you got tears and. Yeah, right. Those are intense. Yeah, well, I just had one not not long ago where my mama told you, right? My mom was still alive, and she was super mad at me. Like she was super upset. I mean, I, I, I honestly don't know why she was mad at me, and I don't know. Oh, let's look it up. I don't know if we looked it up, but I don't think I did. She was very upset at the fact, I don't know, she was very mad at me for some reason. Like I'm talking mad and that where I like I left, you know, and it was funny because it was right after you had the dream about me, quote unquote, cheating on you. And so when I told you this dream, you're like, I think it was the same night. Because I remember telling you. Well, maybe, maybe our our dreams cross or whatever. Yeah. Your mom was mad at you for cheating on me. Yeah, because it was funny. Because I said, I'm going, I'm leaving. And I ended up going back to, like, the house that she lived. You know, like, if I had gone back to live with her or something. What is it say? Okay. It is, um, you were processing grief and unfinished feelings. Um, I mean, it's right around the time she. Yeah, it was actually around the time with her passing and her birthday. Yeah. This I mean, her birthday was just two days ago, and she passed away, what, 11 days prior to that? So there's this whole. I think we talked about it right, this whole, uh, holiday season. It's just not the same because it just brings back those memories from this, this time eight years ago. Um, emotional disconnection or fear of disapproval? Process. I think it's more processing grief and unfinished feelings. Yeah. I mean, you were processing grief because it was literally around the time that the anniversary of your mom's death. Right. And her birthday. Yeah, I was right in between those two. Yeah. Things you wish you would have said. You might carry. Um, I don't know if there's anything you wish you would have told your mom. I don't know. I mean, I, I, I don't think so. I mean, we talked all the way up to her last day or so. Yeah. And as far as guilt, I really can look back and see if there's anything that you, um. It's just the grieving part. You know? Yeah, it is definitely. It's just a process. But, um, I'm gonna tell you one that I just had the other day. Yeah. Because you haven't told me that one yet. So you've been saying. I've already heard. I've been. Huh? The ones you said already had heard. And I'm like, I want to know the one that I hadn't. So I had a dream that you were on your phone. Um, on a FaceTime call with Steph. Okay. But then you know how you can bring more than one person? Yeah. And then there was another. There was a guy. Okay, that you guys were talking to was a. It was a black guy. Oh, wow. And I don't know if I don't know if he was on the call or I don't know if you were talking, I don't know. But anyways, you were on the. You were on the phone and I remember looking at it and I remember saying, who's that? And then you said, oh, that's, uh, Steph's ex. And then I'm thinking, Steph's ex. I'm like, I don't remember her. This guy was dark. Okay. Like, not not like her ex. Not like her ex. This guy was like, black. Okay. Like black. And I'm, like, thinking Steph's ex. And then you're like, yeah. And I'm like. How do you know him? Like what? Steph's ex. And I'm like, when you meet him. And you were, like, looking at me and you can tell your face was like. And then my dream. I'm thinking she's freaking lying. Oh, Steph's ex. She's lying. And I'm like, she's trying to say Steph's ex to take it away from her. Right, right, right. And then I'm like, how'd you meet him? When? When did you meet him? And you were looking at me and you didn't know what to say. You were like, I don't know. And I looked at you and I was like. And I turn around like this, right? Like I you're you're were to my right. And I turn around to my left. And as I turn around to my left, I'm waking up in my bed, pulling away. Oh, wow. I'm like, what the heck? Like I woke myself up as you're standing right here next to me on my right. And I turn to my left. As I turn to my left. And my dream to walk away from you. I turn on the bed to my left. Away from you. Because you sleep on my right. Away from you, in my bed. And I woke up. And. And you didn't wake up mad at me? No, because I knew it was a dream. Oh, so you know how to separate the two? I I'm starting to. I'm starting to. But but I know it was a dream, and I was, you know, it was like. But in in the actual moment I woke up, let's just say, if I had not woken up, like, I would have been either upset or hurt or like, did you feel in a dream like I was talking to the guy, like for me? Yeah. Like it wasn't had nothing to do with this stuff or correct. What was. That's what's crazy, is that I think in my dreams, and this is the stuff that I was telling people, I, I think in my dream, I'm thinking it's not like as a thing as or as things are happening in the dream and they happen and you wake up and you had no control. No. In my dream, I think. And so I knew that in my dream you were not talking to the guy, but you it how do I put it in my dream? You were trying to cover something up. Okay. Does that make sense? And in my dream, I'm thinking she's not telling me this, and she's covering it up, using her friend as a, you know, as a barrier. As a barrier or as a decoy. Yeah, yeah, but it's deep down inside his her because she has no answers to the questions that I'm asking her. Yeah. And so I didn't say anything. I just, I just turned around like I was gonna walk away. And as I made the movement to go left this when I woke up. As I'm moving that away from you in the bed. That's crazy. I didn't look up what it meant because I didn't even told you about it. If it felt like I was cheating on you, it's because you were feeling neglected. Oh, yeah. Because you haven't been here. So I guess we both had the same freaking thing, huh? Well, you see, we both miss each other. That's all I gotta say. Yeah, but anyways, yeah, it was, but I woke up and I noticed I didn't tell you anything, and I wasn't upset, and I wasn't upset or anything because I knew that was a crazy dream. What was this again, like 3 or 4 days ago? Oh, okay. So, like, right after you got back. Yeah, yeah. So what's today? Wednesday. Um, Sunday. Monday maybe. Okay. Maybe Sunday. Monday, then maybe Sunday morning. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. That that that just happened a couple days ago. Mhm. Right after you got back. But that's that's the story. We're feeling neglected. Uh well I mean it's I don't, I don't, I don't want to say neglected because I don't, I, I'm not mad. I thought they were gone or you know. No, no. And I wasn't mad that you were gone or I wasn't mad. No no no no, you weren't that that you. But we do miss each other. I, I sent you on that vacation. You sure did. So it's not like I it was a shocker to me. And it's not like you, you know, threw it at me. Like what? What do you mean? You're leaving without me? Yeah. You know, we usually take a trip around this time for your birthday, and I've just been working so much that I know Stephanie wanted to go out of town, so I was like, okay, you're just you to go, you know? But otherwise, it would have been the three of us, I guess. Um, anyways, um, anything else on dreams as far as. Yes. Okay, so I want you to explain, um, what you. I think it's what you read one time on how it's your soul who actually leaves your right, your body. You read that, correct? Okay. Yeah. There is a book by, uh, Dolores Cannon, I think, uh, uh, Life After Death, I think it's called. And it talks about when you go to sleep, um, your soul actually leaves your body. It goes into another dimension. And this is why a lot of people don't understand. When somebody passes away, you know, we we we're not here, here on a physical level anymore. Just like when we go to sleep. Right? When you go to sleep, you're you're asleep. And I had, I had heard a long time ago on how no one can actually still, um, live without sleeping. Does that make sense at one point that at one point the body has to rest like we're not meant to be? Um, awake 24 over seven? Yeah. Makes sense, because we could have been, but we're not. We have to sleep and we have to rest. And just like that, our bodies, our physical bodies are not here forever. We're here for a specific period of time, depending on how many years a person leaves. But just like when you pass away, when you go to sleep, your soul leaves and it goes into another dimension and it actually lives in that dimension for however long you are, um, asleep. And those things happen. What we, the things we call dreams, happen when you're on your sleep, out of your body and your souls on that dimension. So you go to like, a different world in a sense, in other dimensions, basically what it is. And you live that and and then when right before you go to sleep, right before you wake up, your soul comes back into your body and that's when you wake up. Um, the I know I've experienced stuff like when, um, you're woken up abruptly or like, um, takes you a second. It takes you aesthetic into, like, realize even sometimes to where you are. Yeah. And you know why? Okay, so she explains that in the book. It's because when you're woken up abruptly like that, right, like out of a sun and you're like, and you're like, well, you don't even know what's going on. And you, you're trying to figure it out. If you're asleep, if you're awake, that's because your soul was not ready in your body to come back into your body. And so as you're waking up the physical body, the soul is finding itself back to you so you can wake up and be like, present now. Yeah, back inside you. It's crazy. And I know I'm just reading, you know, on my me, I might not be explaining 100% to the details of how she explains it in the book, but that's what it is. Yeah. And that's when, um, when we pass away, our bodies are physically not there, but our soul is still there. In fact, our soul hangs around your body for like seven minutes. And there is, um, there is a, uh, evidence, right? Not evidence, but there's there's yeah, there's evidence because this lady did a whole study on on these things and, um, went in and put people under like, um, uh, what do you call it when you put them to sleep? And then you ask questions and stuff and, oh, hypnotized. She hypnotizes this deep down to a level, um, where their bodies were. We're all reincarnated, right? In a sense. And again, this might be crazy and deep, but this is stuff that you got to learn. And as she asked him and she says that when a person passes away, the soul stays around and lingers in that room near the body for like 7 or 10 minutes. And when a person passes away, everybody around the person is crying, right, because the person passed away. But the soul is like at the happiest state of being. And the souls like, why are you crying? Like you don't cry. Don't worry about it. I'm good, I'm fine, I feel great, I feel awesome, you know? Oh, I bet, and those are things that are hard to. But it's hard for a human that's still around. Ah. You know, and I, I wish I would have known a lot of these stuff prior to my mom passing away, because you don't understand it. But you come to the realization after you read and you get better at these things. And I'm telling you, that book, which was recommended by by Brenda, um, it's an amazing book that would help you understand a lot more. And I think I, I, I, I gifted that book to somebody that her mom passed away. And I know it helped her out tremendously. Yeah. With her coming to, um. You know, come and come in at peace. You know, the the that the soul of you know was. That's why. That's why you hear sometimes. Oh, she's in a better place. She's in a better place, you know, because that's it. You are in a better I mean they are, they really are. It's just so hard to know we're all going there, here physically anymore, and we're all done part. Yeah.
