You're listening to unfiltered us, where we keep it real and unscripted. I'm your host, Suzy, along with my husband, Miguel. Ready to dive in? Let's get started. Okay. Welcome. Welcome to our newest episode. How are you, my love? Great. How are you? You look beautiful, as always. Oh, thank you very much. Yeah. Always stunning. Crazy hair or straight hair? I like it all. Which one do you prefer, though? Uh, both. I like that I get to have a different variety, so that's always exciting. Today's crazy here. Yeah, crazy. Crazy here. It's crazy here for me every day. Yeah, yeah, very much so. Alright, so we got an interesting topic today I think I think this, this could be fun. This could be one of those that could be, uh, multiple serious. Yeah. This one. I feel like the ones we picked today are kind of more on the serious side. I think next time we should do more, like a fun, a funny one. Oh, we could have picked some funny ones, but, you know, we just really thought about this. Like what? Yesterday or this morning? Oh, this morning, this morning. And so I figured, hey, let's just talk about this because there's, there's a lot of talks that you and I have on a daily basis. Right. But I think if we were to put it out and people get to hear what our conversations are, are about and, uh, it would be fun for, for us to share that with people. Yeah. So explain what we're doing today. So today we pick some TikToks, some videos. Yeah, some TikTok videos that we've discussed in the past before and obviously the ones we picked, we feel that the people are kind of. Dum dum dum. Yeah. Some. There's the last one's going to be a good one. I mean, they're all good, but the last one's going to be like, I don't know if I have a PSL order that. Oh okay. Well one of them is going to be a good PSA. And so we'll see. We'll see. We'll discuss them and let's. I would like to know what everybody's thoughts are on them. If we if you. Okay. So reach out. Yeah. So for instance let me just kind of, uh, tell everyone. So I mean, I'm sure we're not the only couple or the only person that may come across a video on social media. And we think, oh my God, look at what happened, or look at what they say or look, you know. Yeah. But I think sometimes people post things on social media just to get attention, get attention or try to. Sometimes they feel like they're even fake. I think so too. I think they're fake and they just do it to get attention. Yeah. Like the Lamborghini crash against the bus or whatever, you know? Yeah. And they're like, oh, the person took off, you know. I mean, I, I think I don't think so. I don't, I don't think so. I think that was fake. but people just kind of do it just to get the the clout. I guess you can say, or yeah, to stay relevant or to get the views or the likes or the shares or whatever. So that's, that's basically what we're talking about today. And, and then, you know, some of this stuff is could be life changing to for some people as well. And I found some great stuff on TikTok that I love to share. Like my whole Korean skincare that I do on me now is because TikTok, a lot of recipes that I've tried. I even tried one the other day. Yeah, was from TikTok, which the last one I sent you. So good. That's the one. The last one I sent you. Oh, that one too. Yeah, that came up the one. But yes, yesterday I tried the. That's the one I sent you with the potatoes. I know, but yesterday I tried the salmon one. Yeah. Which you also had sent me. Yeah. And then um man like different vitamins, which now he takes over. I don't know if that's a good thing, but we take so many vitamins because supplements. Yeah, yeah, supplements and stuff like that. Because, yeah, everybody says it's great for you. Hey, by the way, do you like my shirt? It's a little out there. What do you mean you don't like it? Did you buy that on on TikTok? I did not. Oh, did you buy it on Instagram? I did not. Where did you get it, Ross? Uh, no. Your brother gave it to me. Oh. That seems like something my brother would give you. He's trying to get me into the lifestyle. I guess so, because he always wears stuff like that which I do not care to. That the upside down pineapple lifestyle. Yeah. No, it's a nice golf shirt. He got it to me for my birthday when we started golfing, I think last year. I just never wore it. Which you never did. Golf. We never did go. You know, the crazy thing is the weather. But anyways, that's another topic. So let's, um. Okay. So. Yeah, so make sure you put it right next to the microphone. So I'm gonna play the TikTok. Obviously you won't be able to see it, but you'll be able to hear it. So here's the first one. So I got Jack this weekend in Vegas. We went to a viral TikTok place called My Tiki Island Restaurant. Had lunch. Unfortunately, I forgot my bag when I left. Now that's my fault. But, um, we went to go deposit the money that was in the bag at a chase, and when we got there, I realized that there was no my bag was not with me. So we called my Tiki island right away. The cashier said, um, let me call you right back if to see if anyone dropped anything off. And, uh, as we're rushing back, she calls us back and says, yeah, someone returned the bag. Um, I get there right when I walk in, all the people scatter. Which is already weird to me. She recognized me right away, gave me my bag back. I go through it, and I immediately. Knew that someone had gone through it. My $1,000 was gone. I was in it. And, um, she was immediately like the family that left. Uh, that was right next to was the Asian family. They brought it up almost immediately after you guys left. Okay, we don't have to play the whole thing, but. Yeah, because it's kind of long. Yeah. So he goes into how he wanted the people to check the tapes, the employees to check the tapes. Uh, obviously they didn't want to, because. Well, not that they didn't want to, but they said it's the owner could only do that. Which makes sense, because why would he want employees to have access to the cameras? Because, again, for safety reason, you have to check on even your own employees. Yeah. So I don't know if you were going to add something else to that. I mean, I wish you would have let the whole video play because there's so many things that we can dissect out of this video. First of all. Yes, he did say that that at the end of the video says that he went back. He asked to, uh, watch the security footage, right, of the videos or whatever, and they told him only the owner can do it, and then also that he file a police report. Right now, let's start from the beginning, okay? He starts with I got jacked. Yes. Which you did not not get jacked. You did not. You forgot your bag. Now, let me tell you something, Jack. Then forgetting something is completely different. Here's the thing. Okay. And I get it. We live in a world where most people today, if they do find a wallet or a bag and there's money in there and they turn it in, first of all, that guy should be lucky. They turn in his back. I don't know what else was in the bag. I don't know if there was credit cards, ID or whatever documents that he may have, but he should be lucky he got that back. Okay. Yeah. So second of all, most people today, when they find a bag like that and they're gonna go through it, they're gonna go through it. Yes. If there's cash. Most people I'm not saying all because there are some good people out there. Me? Most people. Correct. I mean, I'll take 100 and I'll return. No, but most people will keep the cash. Okay. And so the fact that he says that he got jacked and no, you forgot your bag. And here's the deal. If that was me, right, if I forget my wallet somewhere, my money clip somewhere, and and I go back to the restaurant, I'm already. It doesn't matter how much money I had in there, if I had 20 bucks or if I had $1,000 like this guy, I am saying goodbye to the cash. And honestly, the cash at that point, and I understand, like you said the other day, $1,000 is a lot of money for some people, but the cash is almost for sure a gone the gone thing I've had. Maybe sometimes $500 in my wallet. And I kid you not. I like, hold on to that thing. Yeah, I do not let it out of my sight because I know there's $500 on in there. Cash? Yeah. You know, like the cards and stuff. Don't bother me as much as, like, don't give me as much of a heart attack as my cash, because my cash, I know, is irreplaceable. My credit cards. Uh. You know. Yeah. You present at the time you call the. And now I have my the apps and the apps. You could lock your cards to where people can't even use them, so the cards never bother me. It's my cash. Especially when I have that much money in there. And I know I have to go deposit it somewhere, right? And if I have to make a stop in between, that thing is staying with me. So the fact that you nonchalantly forgot your bag with $1,000, you're almost asking for it. That's what I'm saying. You're at. You're asking for it. But if. Let's just say it was an honorable mistake that he forgot. And I'll tell you something here about this video right now, let's just say that you did forget it. You can you could just say goodbye to the cash. I don't care what it is to me. And I get it. You handle all the credit cards so you would know how to lock all this stuff up. But to me, the biggest hassle will be having to go to the DMV, having to make an appointment to get my driver's license. You know, another one? Um, I have my my CCW there having to go to the police department, having to get a new CCW. You know, so to me, there's far more important things to get back than the cash, because I know somebody found it. I already know now if I get lucky and somebody returned a bag with the cash, which it does happen, then that's a plus. Does that make sense? Yeah. Then that's a major of a plus now. What you said right now in regards to you. Always protect your bag. I read the comments in one of the comments. Some lady asked them who leaves behind a dollar a bag with $1,000? Who doesn't watch that? Right? Yes, and he replied with another video on which the video says, me, I did it. He goes, this is what he says. Okay. I was so focused on, uh, putting my leftovers away that I did not have my bag in mine, and I forgot it. Yeah. See that? No food is no worth. Yeah. Me for good? No. A majority of the times I forget my food on the table before I would even forget that video, man. Yeah, that video made him well. And in the beginning, he even says, yeah, I forgot, so that's my mistake. Well, that's. You didn't have Jack. You lost cause the whole thing to begin with. Yeah, exactly. So you're literally admitting to that is your mistake. Yeah. You did not get Jack. You lost a thousand. That's like if you dropped it. Yeah, like if you were on the street and you dropped, like. Like the day I lost my glasses when we went to go eat for my birthday. Um, I, I, I seriously thought, right, that they fell out of my jacket pocket and I lost them. I, I called the restaurant restaurant didn't have them. And then my next thought was, well, I didn't forget about the restaurant. I lost them, completely lost them. That's the way he's gotta look at it. He lost the bag. It just happened that he left it there. Whoever found it. So you did not get jacked. And. And this is what I'm talking about. People just make videos. Just to make videos. Because that video made him more. Yeah, me. Dumb, dumb, more dumb than he went to do a police report. Because honestly, I don't even think police could do anything because. You. It's like, here's hearsay. Like anyone could say, oh, I lost $1,000. He could have said ten grand in there. Yeah, there's no way to prove right. The $1,000 were originally right, even even for some people that don't know this. But even if you have, let's say someone came into your house and God forbid, robbed you when you were gone, right? You can tell the insurance company you had ten grand in cash or 100,000. They're not going to cover it. No, they're not cash. It's not covered. And this is why a lot of the times, people don't realize it is a liability to carry or to keep a bunch of cash in your house for the same reason. Yeah. Somebody breaks in. Never know. They steal the cash there you are not getting that back. There is no insurance. Will cover cash. The police is not going to do anything. Nothing. Nothing. He. He probably had 20 bucks in there. Yeah, he probably had 20 bucks. Nothing proves that you had cash and nothing is going to insure a cash if you forget it somewhere else. Yeah. You know, and the fact that, um, the the thing on this video, too, is he was trying to make the restaurant liable for it. And he says as soon as I got there, people scattered. Well, people I'm sure you went during business hours. People are not gonna drop everything they're doing to go look for your bag. You know how many people forget things all the time? So, yeah. No, I think this this video, definitely. The guy made it himself. He means look dumb. And I don't know, you guys are listening to this. Maybe comment on and see what you guys think or say. Or maybe you guys know the guy since it's here in Vegas. Okay, here's the next one. The next one. Okay. Next one is. A couple getting robbed. Oh, man. More robberies. Just got robbed at the Slingo Hotel this weekend. Someone came in the room while I was sleeping around for me and took my belongings. With me. We filed a report, but they said there's enough hammers in the hallways. Oh, no oh, no no no no no no. I do believe this is because there's no hope. We get our things back that we've just got. Okay, so here this is the part I don't understand because she literally says it in the beginning. Did you watch? Sorry, sorry. Didn't Roku, but did you watch the sequel to that video that the girl made? No I didn't. Okay, I'll. I'll talk about it. Right. I sent it to you. I talk about it right now. Okay. But because everyone in the comments is like, how did you get robbed at four in the morning with you being in the room? Yeah. This is what makes this video so dumb is that she talks about that. But go ahead because that doesn't make sense. The room is not like a house, you know, like if you're in a house and you get robbed downstairs and you're upstairs, you're not, you're gonna get. No, I mean, sometimes you just don't listen to that. That's happened. I'm sure lots of times, lots of people. But the fact that you're in a hotel room, that thing makes noise. Like anytime I've ever stayed in a hotel room, those doors are heavy and they lose. And they make noise when you're opening them. Yes. And so. First of all. So that was stupid. Like, how did you get robbed at four in the morning and you didn't wake up? Secondly, why not deadbolt it, right? Because I've done that. So I'm just for extra security. They have a deadbolt so that even if someone were to stick a key in there or whatever, it won't open because it's dead bolted. Well, you have the the the lock, the deadbolt lock, and you have that little security hinge that goes on top. So you have besides, besides the regular door, you know, handle to come in, in and out, which, by the way, that locks after you come in the room. Right. Because you need a key to get in. You have a deadbolt lock and you have the little security, little latch. Yeah, the latch that goes on top. Okay, so this girl, because I was going through the comments, she did make another video. The girl. Right. And she talked about how they were sleeping in around 430, whatever time it was for 30 in the morning, they said they were in the room and they heard noises, but that they didn't get up. Well, even more stupid. Exactly. So here's the deal. If you and I are in a if you and I are home Right in our house is bigger than a hotel room, and I hear any kind of noise. I'm gonna go and we're gonna. I'm gonna get up and go see who the heck is there. What is that? What? Fell. What? Move! Oh, shoot. It was this light or whatever, right? Number one. Number two. You're in a hotel room. That that. And it was. They showed the room. And what was the Flamingo, right? Yeah. So it wasn't like a big 3000 square foot suite. It was a regular hotel room, 150ft². Yeah. Tiny room. Right? If someone is in that room, first of all, you're going to hear the noise. When the door opens, you're gonna see a light shine in the room because the hallways are always lit. Okay. And then you hear noise. No. And then you'll see the person if you open your eyes. Because it's not like the person's night glasses. Night vision glasses. Yeah. You will see a figure. Yeah, yeah, it's the same thing. It's another video that they made. And again, they went to the police station. They thought, how much did they say $1,000 or what did they say they got wrong? I don't know if it did. I think they did. She said how much money they had. But again, the same thing. This is just videos that people are making in the nonsense. The cops are not going to do anything. There is no cameras in those hallways, right? There's no way that they can prove that somebody broke. Into that room at that time. Now, here's the one thing I do know about, um, new hotel rooms, okay? Is that they actually have a log on when those doors are open based on the card, because all that stuff is digital, right? And so if the hotel and I don't know if the Flamingo has it, but if the hotel really wanted to, they can go back and check what time if there was a time that someone went in that room at that time. That makes sense. Yeah, but it does improve who it was again. Yeah, it just says, what time's the person winning? Yeah, but it doesn't. What are some of the comments that they, that they were there with that, that they said on that. Okay. So some of the comments were. Um, I'm just curious what people see. Somebody said, God, I don't see at the Flamingo. Well, that could happen anywhere. So I'm gonna start bringing my ring camera. It doesn't matter anyway. Um, I used to work there. I can confirm there's no cameras in the hallways. Um, I think older casinos don't sleep through someone opening your door and taking all your belongings. I don't know, sounds fishy. Well, you know. Okay, so let's go back to that. Going back to what I said, if if it was just you and I, and you're sleeping right next to me and there's noises, then I know someone else is in the room. If they're sharing a room with, like, five or 6 or 7 different people, even like that, you're gonna hear some noises in the middle of the night. But, yeah, you might not get up, right? Because, you know, it might be somebody that might be staying in the room with you, right then maybe going to the bathroom or thirsty or whatever. Right. So maybe that person did it. They don't talk about that. Somebody said if he didn't wake up, how do you know what time they came in? Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah, that is a good point. Oh because she says she no, she said it on the video that she said around that time that they heard noises. But she still didn't get up. Well on the second one, this second one you didn't see she just says we got robbed at 430 in the morning. But no, this is people, okay? We can we can go to the next one because this one is this one is just as dumb as the other one. These people there. Yeah. But but again you know, they they put out these content and I don't know people. I don't know. Sometimes I feel like it's fake too. It could be. Yeah, yeah, it could be me. Yeah, it could be. That's what I'm saying. Is there? I think they're fake. They made up. I tell you this stuff all the time. A lot of these videos are made up. Yeah, just like when people supposedly get scared, you know, like when people get. They make those videos like, oh, I'm gonna scare my husband. Yeah. And it's like, the worst. I surprise my husband with this, and all of a sudden it's all made up. Yeah, it's like the worst acting thing. Yeah. Okay. This is more for local people. I think the last two have been locals. No, no, no, but like, local people will know. No. This one, I mean, the other ones. If you don't live here, you just you don't, you know, you can conversate. But this obviously for more local people will understand this one. That's death silence. So it just says so. It has a video of Starbucks inside the Galleria mall closing, um, in which if you knew, if you know the Galleria mall, uh, you know that it's slowly dying. Yeah. Which is really sad because that's. Was one of my most favorite malls. Yeah. Um, so that's why, I mean, like, more local people would understand this. You go in there and it looks like a ghost town now. That one actually shocked me, to be honest. And, um, I think if you read the comments, a lot of a lot of people are surprised, right? Because the Starbucks number one, it was always full. It was always packed every time we went. But we'll talk about the mall in general. Right. Which, by the way, on that video I made a comment. Yeah. You did. I see it. And how many likes does it have right now? My comment. 475. 475 likes. Right? Um, on the comment that I left on that video. But the the the thing about that mall, if you remember, first of all, let's go back to the Boulevard Mall. Like the Boulevard Mall used to be a mall that was like. Yes, when I was little, that was a mall to go to. I think it was actually on the only mall we really had right before the Galleria. And it was actually I remember when they used to market it, they used to call it the Nevada's largest mall, because I remember when they expanded it and they made it bigger. They added that second section on the back, so it became at one point was Nevada's largest mall. And today it's it's almost like a swap me type of deal. Um, you know, all the all the, all the major name brand stores are gone. Right. And so then it went to the Galleria, and the Galleria was the mall to go to the Galleria was like, you know, and and now the Galleria is the same way. There is a video that that same lady or the same person did or shows a bunch of stores closed inside that mall. Yeah. Express has left all of, um, forever 21. Well, that one died. Even the Raider store, even the Raiders store left there. Even the Raiders store now left. Starbucks is gone. So that was. But like I had told you earlier, I kind of feel that, um, malls are just dying in general. You don't have, at least for local people. I think the one the people you find mostly at malls are people who don't live. In the area that there is, you know like yeah in the area that they're visiting. Mhm. Or they don't uh or like people who just need like something extremely last minute. But it's just so it's, it's fair to say that that's why the fashion show mall is still thriving in a sense. Because those are all tourists, right? Just like when we went recently to Barcelona, I was excited to go into a store and shop there at the mall. Never happens. Yeah, never happens here. Like, yo, you won't find me a lot of times that I do a lot of online shopping and and that's all. Yeah, but I won't really step into any more. I'll step into the fashion show mall here and there, but most of the times I don't even end up buying anything because I, I think, oh, I could get that cheaper online. Yeah. So a lot of malls now I think are just tourists and not so much locals, which I think is making more of the local malls die. Yeah, Yeah. Same thing with crystals at, um, city center. You know, they're high. They got high end stores. And obviously Vegas. There is a portion of Vegas that's for the mega wealthy. Right. And when these guys come, they shop at those malls. It may be locals don't go there unless every once in a while you might see, like a Floyd Mayweather, you know, or maybe an average person that wants to buy their wife, uh, Versace belt or, you know, Gucci backpack or whatever, right, that they might go to these stores, but on a daily basis, majority of them are foreigners out of towners. Tourists. Yeah. That come here and they want to, you know, go see that. But it's just sad to see that though. It's sad to see, you know first obviously sad the the boulevard. Right. And then now the Galleria because that that mall I mean we used to live right by it. We would always go there just to go walk around and just see and see what's in the store sometimes, you know, sometimes, uh, touching and feeling. Something, you know, a piece of clothing or a shirt, or you can try it on. Especially for me, I like to try things on before I buy them, just to see how the fit is. Uh, but it's just sad to see that they're all gone. Yeah, man. And even Starbucks that I mean, that maybe they're just not getting enough foot traffic. You know, maybe on the weekend, which just might not be enough. Well, they opened the Starbucks not too far from there. Oh, that one on sunset is fairly new. Maybe they're planning on opening another one very close outside of it or something. Inside the sunset station, there's one which is literally right across the street. If the mall was thriving. Oh, there's actually one in that corner on sunset. And, uh, Stephanie, that's the one I thought you were talking about. No, I was talking about the one on sunset and sunset. Oh, no, that one's far. Yeah, well, I mean, but no, I just think that the mall is just not getting the foot traffic. There's no stores. There's hardly any stores there. Because even if they had the one on sunset and Stephanie. Sunset and sunset, um, you know, across the street at Sunset Station, you know, on the other side of the I mean, even if they had all of those and the mall was thriving, they would have one inside there. I mean, the fashion show mall had two, one dot around the streets, a donut shop now, but they used to have two. Yeah. Right. Right. Right around the corner. Yeah. You're right. So I, I just think that's that's sad. Okay. Well onto the next one. The next one is more informative which we have not done this, but you did send it to me. Okay. I think this is the one that I said that was going to be. This is this is actually pretty genius. Genius, to be honest. And I think we should start doing this for pretty much anything, any celebrations. I think that's the one. Or maybe this is another one. No I don't oh, this is the okay, okay okay okay. Oh. So we've been doing the three, two, one. I feel like our sex life has improved. Why don't you explain it? Three. Two. One. It's three hours before bed. No eating, two hours before bed. Done working one hour before bed, no electronics whatsoever. And then we go to bed at 930 is doable. If we can get the girls to sleep by 930, then we have 930 to 10 and we have much better odds. Yeah. No doubt. So that one, um, I actually just told you yesterday that I am no longer going to eat after 6:00, which is funny that you sent me this TikTok. So three hours before bed, for sure I do not. I have stopped eating. Yeah. So obviously, um, I, I came across that video and I sent it to you because I thought I, the guy said, first of all, our sex life got better after we started doing 3 to 1. Right. But when you were thinking something. Yeah. Oh, I wanted to see how their sex life got better. Right? You know, like, what is to explain that? I know I'm like, exactly what is 3 to 1, right? Because I mean, if you say our sex life got better after three, two, one, I'm like thinking, well, after watching the video, clearly they weren't having sex, right? That's what it that's what it means if you think about it. Because now quote unquote after they're three, two, one, they have time. If the guy said they get the girls. Their girls to go to sleep early by 930. So clearly they weren't having any. But I, I besides the, the sex part, um, I think that and obviously they're different. Right. Because they, they probably have little kids. Yeah. It's probably different for them. Right. But I, I do think that okay. So the three hours before bed not eating I think that works. You I used to do that. I used to do and it should be important health wise speaking it's important for a lot of people to do that. I just like this 3 to 1 method more, not to improve our sex life because we don't need help in that situation. But like, I think it's just good to do that. To start unwinding for bed. Yes. Okay. So let me tell you where okay, where where I, I don't know if that 3 to 1 fits me, but because sometimes I feel like I need to eat a little later. Right. Like I've been my last meal has been around 8 p.m. and not so much six. And we go to bed by like nine 3010. Nothing heavy right? Nothing heavy. Because obviously your body needs at least an hour, an hour and a half to digest it before you go to bed. But because I feel like when I would stop eating at six or earlier than that, which is great for you if you're doing the intermittent fasting. I was gassing out at the gym like I was. I didn't have to. You know, like I didn't eat enough for me to for me to lift. And so does that make sense and like. Yeah. For you for that. Yeah. But I do I do love the, the two hours before bed. No work. Right. Which I mean we're usually done way before that. Unless we have a call that we usually do around nine, which takes ten minutes. Um, and then I think the biggest one out of this one for me is, is no electronics. 30 minutes. An hour an hour. Oh, yeah. Three. Two. One. No electronics an hour. Yeah. We're going to be very difficult for you. I think I think that's the part where I need to improve. I'm always researching, uh, or prospecting. So. Yes. Yeah. That one is the hardest one for you. I could see, uh, you would have such a hard time with the what? No electronics, they say. No. What is it? No blue light? Yeah. No. Like our computer? Yeah. Computer pad. Earphones. They said that it's the best thing for you. I mean, I, I, I Clearly there must be a study behind it that says it is good for you, but a lot of times you get in there at night and see what I do. I do know one thing, though, that TikToks are funnier in the mornings than they are at night. I don't know why. Maybe because I'm tired. I don't find them funny. Maybe. But yeah, that is a good one. The three one. It is a good one for for a lot of people. Yeah. So I wouldn't mind trying that one. Three hours. No eating before. Yeah. Going to bed. So let's say they go to sleep at ten. So they should not eat past anything past seven. Right. Right. Which is good for me is good because then in the morning when I have my protein shake, because I have a protein shake before I go to the gym, I found myself like before, at least because I started this week. Like doing the three hour. Like by 6:00. I said to myself, I find myself enjoying my protein shake more in the morning because you wake up hungrier cuz I wake up hungry enough to want it. Or before I felt like I was like forcing myself to have my protein shake before the gym. Well, what were what was the last hour you were not eating? You were what was instead of like three hours. What was it before? What was the cutoff? I didn't have a cutoff. I never looked at it. If I was hungry, I would just eat. Well, there was a time you ate late, and I did it. I think it was one day. Well, yeah, but what I'm saying is, there's a time where you ate super late at night. I know, I'm not saying that you do it. I'm just saying there was a time I remember that you ate late, and then I didn't because I wasn't hungry. But you didn't have. A quarter was cut off. That's what I'm trying to say. Yeah. No, before I didn't have a cutoff. No, I mean, like yesterday you were asking me. Oh, let's go eat. Yeah. Our favorite restaurant had Taco Tuesday, and it was 8:00. And I was like, yeah, but that's because I got home at that time. Yeah, I know, and then I was like, no, it's past. I promised myself I wouldn't eat after six, so I but I was starving, I wanted it, yeah. Which you made yourself some nachos which looked delicious. I saw you I saw you went to eat them. Oh, my gosh, those look so good. Yeah, it is. It should have made me. Should have let me made your plate. I'm good. No, I know I'll respect that. 2 hours or 3 hours. No food before you go to bed. So if someone goes to sleep at ten, they shouldn't eat past seven, right? And then two hours work prior to going to bed and then an hour of no electronics. What if you get a text? Will, you know, when you put it on D and D so you don't get the text? What if somebody needs something? I mean, that hardly ever happened. You never know. I'm just saying what if. But yeah, I get it. It may be. Not so much. Be on your phone. Like the way I am? Yes. Okay. That's a good one, you guys. That should be something everyone should be trying. Three. Two. One. This one's crazy to me, which I didn't know, so this would be very informative. I had to go to the store to pick up a few things, and I thought, oh, I'll get a quick pick on that. Now I always use my credit card and not my debit card because of the fraud protection, of course. And then I pay off my credit cards. Well, the lady noticed that I paid with my credit card and she's like, whoa, you can't use your credit card to purchase these lottery tickets. And I said, what? She said, well, you can. But she told me that the lottery commission will refuse to pay out if you use a credit card because they consider that you're not using your money, you're using the credit card to pump money, I thought. You gotta be fucking kidding me. She's like, no, I'm serious. She's like, so I need to refund you your money and then use your debit card to purchase that. So that's what we did. And then she gave me both the receipts, you know, the receipt for the original purchase on the credit card and then the receipt for the refund. Do you see how these sons of bitches try to weasel their way out of everything so that they can keep more of their goddamn money? So remember that if you go to buy a lottery ticket and you win big, they will not pay you out if you use a credit card, because supposedly that's not your money. That's the credit card companies money. Even though I'm the one who pays the damn credit card bill every single month. This is ridiculous. Let me know if you've ever heard about this. This is the rant. Like cheerful. Okay, so no, you don't know if. No. First of all, the guy is ranting. Yeah, I'm sure there are legal reasons. Okay. Let me. Let me start from the beginning. He should be thankful that Clark told him that. Okay. Because if that is the legality of it. Right? If that is the the the the legality of the situation, then they have every right. They set the rules. To me, a lottery has obviously they have their stipulations and their rules. Okay. And if the attorneys set it up that way, which is true, you think about it, somebody goes in there and wins the, the the lottery. And this is the way I look at it. All right. Listen. I'm listening. I'm just trying to read I can listen, okay? I just need you to I'm reading the comments and I know, just hold on for a second. Just listen to what I gotta say. Don't yell at me. I'm not yelling. I'm just. I just need you to pay attention to what I'm saying to you. Look at me when I'm talking to you. Um, there's legalities behind all of this. I mean, there is a point. He's blaming the lottery as if they're scumbags, that they're looking for ways not to pay. But there's a reason why they set it up that way. It's true. If I go and I pay with the credit card the way I see it, if it's really true that way I'm not using my money. I haven't paid that bill yet. So you see what I'm saying? I do, but, um, then maybe they shouldn't take credit cards if they're gonna put that stipulation on the payout. Well, I like that. One of the comments is in Colorado, you cannot use a credit card at all. You have to use a debit card. Okay, so there you go. So there might be some places where, I mean, and and it just depends on how the machine takes it. You know, some machines don't accept it for the lottery on credit cards and only debit cards. But I think the, the point of the video and I, I again, he should be thankful that the clerk told him to refund the money. And I mean, I don't know how true because I've never not that I paid that much attention, but someone winning a huge jackpot and them saying, oh sorry, we couldn't pay them because they use the credit card. Well, I mean, clearly whoever won it never had that issue, but I mean it. So you're telling me out of all the winners in all of history, no one's ever used a credit card. I don't know, I don't know, I, I honestly don't I can't tell you 100% whether that's there or not. What I'm trying to say is there's a reason why the lottery did is they have rules. You got to follow those rules. I don't think there, but it's not like it's posted somewhere for him to see that either. So it's on the back of the ticket on all the little fine print that we don't read that where that stuff is. Okay, I'm gonna go good, I'm gonna buy it. So you see what I'm saying? So that's I, I think, and I get it. I'm not siding with the him. I'm not siding with the, the the lottery company or whatever. Right. All I'm saying is these guys are gonna say it's like it's like these policies, right? Like these policies that that we review all the time. They can tell you one thing. Oh, yeah, it's this, is this and that. But it's it's not until you read the fine print that they don't tell the person. Right. And then when something happens, right, when they find out how it really works, it's exactly I'm looking at it the exact same way, right. Yes. They do it for a reason. Yes, they're rather keep their billion dollars if somebody wins. But at the same time, I get why that is. I get why they think you, if that's the truth, where they're paying for it with not their money, I can see why they would come back and says, well, you didn't buy it. It wasn't your money. Does that make sense? Again, okay, I could understand that I get yeah, that's the point. Not allow you to pay with the credit card. I thought that's the case. Okay. There was a time you wouldn't take that away. There was a time that you and I went to. I think it was California or Arizona. I forget where it was. And we were trying to buy lottery tickets with our car. They wouldn't let us. And it was a debit card or it was a whatever it was, it was they wouldn't let us. It had to be. That's how we should be, right? It had to be cash. And so I think it's just a way for the if this is true, there's a way for the lottery to stop that so that you you know what I mean? It's like they want to take your money, but they don't want. Yeah, they don't want. I see his point, but I see his point. But I just think, you know, his video could have been more of, you know, hey, this is a PSA for you guys. You know, if, if you are planning or if they for whatever reason, they do allow you to pay with a credit card. Um, you know, because you think about it, people could use a max out of credit card, $10,000 on by 10,000 tickets, you know, and then not pay the credit card. I don't. I don't know. But I just think I think regardless you they should pay it out. I get it that it's not. But you do pay the bill. And even if you don't pay the bill, um, it's the. You know what I mean? It's still something that, uh, it I see it both ways. I see his way, but I, like I said, I, I get it, and I think it's just a way to scam people, to be honest. You think so? You think that the lottery is doing it on purpose? Money. And if it if they're taking your money without any issue. Yeah, but you God forbid, you win and then suddenly they don't want to pay. You know, it's a scam. Yeah. You're right. Well it just. Yeah. I mean, now that you put it that way, it's just like these policies. Yeah, exactly. They want to they want to take your money in there and they will tell you, but then they don't want to tell you how to really work. Yeah, I see I see it both ways, but I, I think I would have done that video a little bit different. Well I took it the way it's informative. It's very important. And here's the thing for people that maybe didn't know this is a good thing to know. Yeah. You know, I heard something. So. Okay. And the reason why it's informative, it's good to know is because if you are planning on playing the lottery right, then you want to make sure that you follow the quote unquote rules that if you do win it, they'll pay you. Make sense that you play their game. It's basically what I'm trying to say. Okay, perfect. Okay, Nick. Last one, last one. Let's go. So I have a theory that people who posted significant items constantly and obsessively on social media are actually miserable in that relationship. And before we continue, I would like to restate I mean excessively and here's why. Number one, I've been there. There's usually pressure from one side to behave like this or some kind of hidden agenda. Maybe an apology or jealousy or look, I'm not hiding anything that's behind it. It's just too much for it all to be sincere. And don't get me wrong. I'm all for sharing love. But this isn't sharing. This is marketing. This is a PR campaign. You're out here running a brand, trying to sell us on a couple goals, but the product is probably defective. But seriously, when I see that, I just want a message that, like, blink twice if you're okay, I don't know. But if you ever see me posting someone every day, just know I'm fighting for my life. So okay, so we've actually discussed this before on one of our other podcasts. Yes, we have, um, that we feel like that is very true because the people that we've known who are in relationships and host their significant other excessively. Within time they ended up breaking up. Mm. Yeah. And I actually know a current couple who is currently over sharing. Yeah. But when I speak to her, she tells me that it's horrible. Like, yeah, that he's super, um, protective or like, jealous and doesn't let her do anything and blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, yeah, wow. Social media is funny in that way. Yep. Yeah. Ah, we talked about this. You know, we talked about this and I, I do agree, but I do have a question for you, right. Because I, I, I know we live it, right. We we see it, we know them and we see the things that people pose. And you're like, hmm, okay, whatever anyways. Right. Um, you like you like the post anyways, right? But you know, deep down inside is completely different. Right. Right. But I do have a question for you. What if. Okay, we're talking about the people that we do know, right? That we know what's going on and how they overshare. Yeah, right. How they overshare each other. And they put this post always together and oh, my love and my king. And you know, my queen. Da da da. What about someone that may be like I, I, I have people that I follow that I don't know personally. They just, I just follow them. Right? And they post their husbands, right? And every time they're out, like they're there. I don't want to say they're over posting, but they're always post their husbands. Right. And it. But I don't know them personally. So is there an exception to this is my question? Um, I don't know. I mean, what if they really are madly in love like you and I, but they just post each other all the time? I mean, is, is there an exception? I can't, I guess my biggest point is, I, I want to know I want to know them personally. I want to know if that's true. Because sometimes when I me personally, that if I don't know them personally, yes. And I know they're married and then I know that they never post their husband, I'm on the opposite. And I'm like, why are they having problems? Like she never posts her husband? Yeah, but I don't know them personally enough to know, like, are they a happy couple or they're just all I actually think get on the opposite end of it, because I know some I have people on social media that I know are married and they never share their husband. Yeah. And I'm like, well, we, we or even their wife, you know. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. We recently had lunch with somebody that, um, we follow on social media that I don't feel like they over post each other, but, I mean, in fact, they hardly ever post, you know, uh, together, but. From what we heard there. You know, that's just their dynamic and how it works. You know, but, um, I just want to know, are those. I know, is it just because we know the people that overshare, some of the people that we know overshare personally, that we know and maybe. Yeah, okay. So maybe why people like this guy that made this video. Um, he probably has the same situation that we have where he knows someone that, you know, or probably, you know, they need to blink twice, but they never post them like they're there. Best things in the world. You know, maybe maybe I don't know. And again, this is something that I would love to find out from other people and what they think about these things, you know, because obviously this is yours, a nice opinion and what we see and what we live and what we know. But I, I always feel man, is there exceptions to this rule. Are there exceptions. Are there exceptions because you and I, I mean, we have a great relationship, but we don't over post each other all the time. I post my pictures sometimes about myself and and sometimes actually, we're in the same restaurant and I'll post a picture of, like my plate of food and I won't tag. You know me. Yeah, that doesn't bother me. But are you maybe there? But the people that know us personally see that you're at the same restaurant that I'm at. They're like, oh, they're even if I wasn't, even if I wasn't, there's times where you go out, you know, with staff or there's times where you go out with the kids and stuff, and I'm not there. Even if I wasn't, it doesn't, you know, obviously it doesn't. It doesn't bother me. The fact that you don't post me, I guess, is what I'm trying to say. You know that you don't over praise me. I think that's corny. I think that's phony sometimes, you know? But yeah, every once in a while we post. Actually, what's funny is that personally, when we were having problems many years ago, I wanted you to post me a lot and I would actually get upset. I remember getting upset one time because you didn't repost. No, I really I don't want to say repost because at the time there wasn't a repost, but almost like you didn't share the same picture that I did. But it's because we were having issues. Yeah. And it's that was like, I think I needed validation that you were mine. I don't know, but I could understand that point of view because I was that person many years ago. And now that I'm confident in our relationship, I don't. It doesn't. Yeah, I, I, I remember that I remember that I remember that conversation and, um. Yeah, I remember you even told me and I wish you poses me as much as such and such post his wife. I remember that and I'm like, that's corny. That's I mean, I just. And if I did it back then, it wasn't for anything crazy. It was just because I've always thought, that's pretty. I don't know. I mean, every once in a while it's okay if we post a picture together, especially on our business page. Right? Because you want to showcase the power couple. But even like that, I mean, we've been doing this business for so long. Everybody in their mama knows what we do, right? And there's no need for me to redo that. I mean, who am I selling the dream to? You know, the people that I already know, the people that I already know were solid. If anything, okay, might be to someone else that, um, maybe don't know me. That started following me. But, I mean, they're gonna see if if any really wanted to see. I don't care who it is if you go through your page. Right. Anyone brand new that goes into your page and they see whether you're single or not. If they really wanted to find out more about you, they're going to go through all your pictures and post and they're going to see that you're married. And the same thing with me. In fact, we don't have a whole lot of pictures together like that, but it's in our bios. Yeah, right. It's in her bio. So I mean, what what I mean, why why oversaturated. You know that to me. And again, hats off to the ones that are the exceptions to the rules because I'm always wondering that. But at the same time it's it's just me personally, I mean it. This has nothing to do with anybody. Yeah, but I know you love me and I love you. And so there's no need. Yeah. So there was actually one more video I had sent you. Um, you didn't play. It was about that when you, um. Which this is pretty cool. We'll finish up with this, I guess if you have a wedding coming up that you can that you can invite, like large corporations. Yes. Which I didn't know that. Yeah. And they said yes, they have their home office. You just have to find their home office. You you invite Delta Airlines to come to your wedding or you invite a lot of artists, right? Or you invite major corporations like target or something like that. You send them a wedding invitation, right? Or a birthday invitation, and they send you gifts. And that's pretty cool. That's some of them. Yeah. Vouchers or whatever, or a flight voucher or something like that. I think that's and that's actually pretty good. Department handles that marketing maybe, but that's pretty genius if you think about it. Crumble cookies. I mean, nobody should eat crumble cookies, but crumble cookies is one of them. They send you a vouchers, right? They figure if they send you a voucher for a cookie, you're gonna show up and get a dozen, right? Or half a dozen. So it's actually pretty genius. But yeah, I would pick like major, major corporations like, uh, I think they said Disney, Disney Delta. Yeah. Huh. Um, target. I think they said, yeah. Uh, major, major corporations like that. Definitely not promo cookies. That stuff is poison. But anyways. So yeah, maybe next time we'll pick some funny videos. Yeah, I think next time let's do funny. Yeah. You know, I would love to hear your comments on what you thought about this. Did you guys feel the same way as US episode as far as like what we heard from the video?
